Privacy, terms, and refunds

The short version: we ask only for the data we need, use pseudonymous first-party metrics to improve the workbooks, never sell your email address, and use secure payment providers.

1. Who handles your data

Information submitted directly on this site is handled by the er3system independent publishing project in Colombia. The contact channel for privacy requests is hola@er3system.com.

2. What we collect and why

When you request a free guide, we store your email address, the date, language, and the workbook or topic from which you requested it. We use that information to send the requested resource and relevant er3system editorial updates. The form also uses an anti-abuse control that temporarily keeps a pseudonymous hashed identifier derived from the IP address, not the plain IP address itself.

To understand whether pages and workbook descriptions are useful, we record technical events such as the page or workbook viewed, active time while the tab is visible, reading depth, clicks on resources or payment providers, domain, language, broad screen size, referring host, and UTM campaign tags. We use random visitor and session identifiers. Analytics does not receive your email, name, written text, free-form searches, payment-card details, or complete URL query strings.

We do not sell or rent mailing lists. We process this information with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

3. Where processing happens

The website, first-party metrics, orders, and request list are hosted using Hostinger infrastructure. Depending on the option selected, a purchase may be processed by Gumroad, Mercado Pago, or an international provider such as Lemon Squeezy. Each provider processes the information required for its service under its own policies. er3system does not receive or store full payment-card details.

4. Retention and your choices

We keep your email until you withdraw consent or ask us to delete it, unless an applicable requirement calls for a specific record to be retained longer. Usage events are normally retained for up to 180 days; order records may be kept as needed for support, refunds, fraud prevention, accounting, and applicable obligations. You can ask to access, correct, update, or delete your data, learn how it has been used, or withdraw your authorization by emailing the address above.

Because er3system operates from Colombia, the general data-protection framework includes Colombia’s Law 1581 of 2012. The Colombian data-protection authority explains the role of a clear policy on the SIC website.

5. Metrics, cookies, and children

First-party measurement does not create advertising profiles and starts only after you choose “Accept analytics.” If you accept, we store the consent version and use first-party cookies to recognize a browser pseudonymously across er3system subdomains and separate sessions. Recognizable automation signals are marked and excluded from editorial indicators; this is an estimate, not proof that a visitor is human. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or “Do Not Track,” the script does not record the visit.

External services you choose to open may use their own technologies and policies. The resources and forms are intended for adults; we do not knowingly seek data from children.

6. Purchases and license

A workbook can be purchased only when its page presents an active payment option. The final price, taxes, and available methods appear before confirmation. Gumroad and Lemon Squeezy manage their own delivery. For Mercado Pago, access is enabled only after a signed notification has been independently verified, then provided through a private, limited, expiring link. A purchase grants a personal license: you may download and print your own copy, but you may not resell, redistribute, or publish it.

The workbooks are educational and reflective materials. They are not therapy or medical, psychological, legal, or emergency advice, and they do not replace professional care.

7. Refunds and support

If an available title advertises a 30-day guarantee, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase by replying to the receipt or emailing hola@er3system.com from the address used at checkout. Include the title, date, and provider; never send a full payment-card number.

When a purchase is made through an external platform, its process and policy also apply. Gumroad explains receipt-based contact in its refund help article.

8. Changes

We will update this page if the form, providers, or sales terms change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
